Major in ornithology. Most of the researches focus on pheasants and other birds in Tibetan plateau. The past work was on the ecology and social behavior of White eared-pheasant (Crossoptilon crossoptilon) and Blood pheasant (Ithaginis cruentus), the behavior and habitat use of Ibisbill (Ibidorhyncha struthersii), and the habitat use of Tibetan partridge (Tibetan Partridge).
Research Interests Social behavior of pheasant and other birds, endangered pheasant conservation, ecology of the birds endemic in Tibetan plateau.
