I majored on animal husbandry in Tianjin Agricultural College from 2009 to 2013 and gained a solid understanding on basic principles such as anatomy, biochemistry, animal physiology, etc. during this period. While focusing on physiological function and reproduction of animals in individual level, I realized I'm more passionate on animals in larger scales. This passion guided me to WI and started my wildlife conservation career there. I experience as much as I could: fieldwork in Shanxi to explore leopard, diet analysis for snow leopard, internship in State Forestry Administration (SFA) and developing technical skills necessary for wildlife conservation. My current interesting is using genetic methods to have a deeper understanding about predation on prey, food construction in ecosystem, food competition between predators and hoping this can also contribute to alleviate human-wildlife conflict and to plan wildlife management in the future.
