I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2014, I came to China to complete my master's degree as a member of the WI-CATS group. During my four years at the Beijing Forestry University I was involved in several projects, including camera trapping and individual identification of snow leopards, evaluating drivers of human-elephant conflict in Yunnan and human-ungulate conflict on the Tibetan Plateau, and my master's work on tropical forest restoration success in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province using dung beetles as an indicator taxon.
I graduated from the Beijing Forestry University in June 2018. I am currently based in the United States.
